0 Comments 04 October 2011

Thanks to the inevitable success of the 3D re-release of “The Lion King,” Disney will also be sending ”Beauty and the Beast,” “Finding Nemo,” “Monsters Inc.,” and “The Little Mermaid” back to theaters in 3D fashion in the next two years. ”The Lion King” was supposed to play for two weekends, but its time in theaters was extended after it opened at number one in the box office for two weeks in a row.

“Beauty and the Beast” will be back on January 13, 2012, “Finding Nemo” will be on September 14, 2012, “Monsters Inc.” on January 18, 2013, and “The Little Mermaid” will be September 13, 2013. Keep in mind – the “Monsters Inc.” prequel, “Monsters University,” will be hitting theaters on June 21, 2013, before “Monsters Inc.” and after “Finding Nemo.”
