The first trailer has premiered for “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” the film adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer’s popular novel, starring Thomas Horn, Tom Hanks, and Sandra Bullock, directed by Stephen Daldry, and adapted by Eric Roth.
In the story, Oskar (Horn) is a 9-year-old boy in New York City who finds a mysterious envelope, containing a key and labeled “black,” in the closet of his deceased father (Hanks) who died in the September 11th attacks. Bullock plays his mother, who is dealing with her husband’s death and her son’s unusual curiosity.
